I finally have the room confirmation for Saturday's Debriefing session. It will be at the Group Health Administration Building in Tukwila, formerly known as the Riverside Operations Center. The meeting is in the AMB Buidling on the left (east) side of E. Marginal Way in Rooms C14-C-15. Meeting will start at 0900.

This was a very important exercise for all of us, last Thursday. It is important that we get together to discuss how the exercise went from our perspective - what went right/wrong, what we can improve on, etc. This was a HOSPITAL Exercise, with us in a supporting role. We did not design the scenario or the operating conditions - we were designated to provide the common denominator for communications in all but King County. King County had the added benefit of 800 MHa, but also relied on Amateur Radio for backup communicaiotns.

I know that gas is very expensive now, and that driving to a meeting can be a chore, but if you can join us from the farther-away counties, we'd love to have you join us. If there is any desire to set up a conference call, I can sure try to do that... Please let me know by Wednesday if this is an interest to you.

If you cannot attend, I'd really like to have comments from you by Wednesday, as well. I have to give a report to the Hospital Association on Thursday morning.

If you haven't yet turned in your hours and miles, I need those too, ASAP.

From I-5 Southbound
  • Take exit 158, Pacific Highway South/East Marginal Way.
  • At light at the end of the exit, turn right onto Boeing Access Road, then merge to the far left lane.
  • At next light at 5-way intersection, make a hard left onto East Marginal Way South.
  • Travel approximately .5 mile, then turn right at next light on East Marginal Way South.
  • Travel approximately .5 mile more. Main building is on the left (east), north and south buildings are on the right (west).

    From I-5 Northbound
  • Take exit 156, SR 599 Tukwila West Marginal Way. Turn left on Interurban Avenue, heading north.
  • Follow Interurban Avenue to East Marginal Way South, then turn left.
  • Travel approximately .5 mile. Main building is on the left (east), north and south buildings are on the right (west).
