This month we will be having a presentation on Pandemic Influenza and the Impact on the Healthcare System; this is a particularly intense topic among health care and public health professionals due to the potential for Asian bird flu to spread through the human population. There is no level of immunity built up to this virus, so it could be devastating.
Our speaker on Pandemic Influenza will be: Debbie Riehl, N7FL, who works for the Snohomish Co Health Dept.
If we have time, we'll show a video called "Cascadia: Hidden Fire".
The meeting will be held at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland (Totem Lake) in the TAN Building - Tan 1st Floor Room 119. This is the Education Center and can be reached from the Parking garage, by using the Purple Elevator. Driving instructions and a map are attached in a PDF format. If you cannot read this, it will also be on the Web page, or I can send you the instructions in text format.
